\nAunque estoy muy feliz con la compra de mis maletas para moto<\/a>, hubo efectos secundarios no esperados con la compra, aparentemente, se lo compr\u00c3\u00a9 a ladrones, y aunque estoy muy feliz con el producto, hubiera preferido comprarlo de alguien m\u00c3\u00a1s.<\/p>\n

Revisando mi estado de cuenta, encontr\u00c3\u00a9 un cargo de $9 por un sitio llamado Shopper Discounts & Rewards<\/a>, sitio que no conozco, y mucho menos, les he dado la informaci\u00c3\u00b3n de mi tarjeta de cr\u00c3\u00a9dito. Investigando el sitio, encontr\u00c3\u00a9 que tienen un cup\u00c3\u00b3n de descuento para m\u00c3\u00ad de parte de JC Whitney, por lo cu\u00c3\u00a1l sospech\u00c3\u00a9 que talvez obtuvieron mis datos de ellos.<\/p>\n

Analicemos lo que est\u00c3\u00a1 mal aqu\u00c3\u00ad. JC Whitney, una compa\u00c3\u00b1\u00c3\u00ada en la cu\u00c3\u00a1l yo confi\u00c3\u00a9 lo suficiente para darles mi la informaci\u00c3\u00b3n de mi tarjeta de cr\u00c3\u00a9dito, le est\u00c3\u00a1 dando esa informaci\u00c3\u00b3n a otras compa\u00c3\u00b1\u00c3\u00adas sin mi consentimiento, compa\u00c3\u00b1\u00c3\u00adas que hacen cargos a la tarjeta de cr\u00c3\u00a9dito y talvez mucha gente no se da cuenta de esos cargos, de hecho, si yo no revisara el estado de mi tarjeta de cr\u00c3\u00a9dito, no lo hubiera notado. Todav\u00c3\u00ada lo hace peor, el hecho de que JC Whitney promete en su p\u00c3\u00a1gina que no va ha hacer p\u00c3\u00bablica esta informaci\u00c3\u00b3n ni d\u00c3\u00a1rsela a nadie m\u00c3\u00a1s<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Investigando todav\u00c3\u00ada m\u00c3\u00a1s, encontr\u00c3\u00a9 que JC Whitney no solo hace esto con una compa\u00c3\u00b1\u00c3\u00ada<\/a>, sino con varias, hasta el momento encontr\u00c3\u00a9 otra que se llama \u00abReservation Rewards\u00bb.\n<\/div>\n

After checking out the site, I found a discount coupon at JC Whitney, giving my a hint from where they got my credit card information.<\/p>\n

Lets look at the problem. JC Whitney, a company I trusted enough to give my credit card information, is giving it to third party companies without my concent, companies that later make charges to the credit card, and a lot of people may not notice those charges, if I hadn’t check my credit card statement, I wouldn’t noticed. To make it even worst, JC Whitney has a privacy statement claiming they don’t give that information to third parties<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Further investigation revealed that this is common practice with JC Whitney, not only with this company<\/a>, but at least another on called \u00abReservation Rewards\u00bb.\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
